Welcome to A Well Read Woman Blog’s Request Page!
Book Review Requests
A Well Read Woman isn’t taking anymore book review requests. My review queue is at a toppling 250+ books and I can’t possibly accept anymore. Expedited book review requests are still open at this time. I will also make exceptions for authors who I have a good relationship with, and I have reviewed for in the past. Thank you for understanding.
For fair, thoughtful, and honest book reviews, please email April.L.Wood@Outlook.com for consideration.
Accepting Kindle, Mobi, PDF, and bound books (preferred), self and traditionally published. For bound copies, my mailing address can be provided upon request.
I’m currently accepting Romance, Fantasy, Horror/Thriller, YA, Cozy Mystery, and Chick Lit/Women’s Fiction. As a warning, I have an extensive to-be-reviewed queue. If you need your review sooner, I offer an expedited book review service.
Book reviews are posted on this blog, Goodreads, and Amazon, and then shared on Facebook and Twitter. For maximum exposure, I encourage authors to share their review on their social media. I do not post reviews that are less than 3 stars, or rate books that are “DNF”.
Professional Beta Reading Service
Authors, are you looking for feedback on your finished manuscript? Do you need fresh eyes from A Well Read Woman and a published author? Well, you came to the right place! Allow me to help you identify any problems with the readability of your story, BEFORE you query any agents, publishers, or decide to self-publish. Click here for more details.
Author Interview Requests
Interviews are posted on this blog and shared on social media. Interview requests are first come, first served so do be patient so I can devote the same quality time to your project as I do for the person(s) before you. If I am also reviewing your novel, I prefer to interview after my review is completed.
Character Interview Requests
Character interviews can only be conducted after I have read and reviewed your novel. The questions are relevant to the story, so if you are concerned with spoilers, a character interview may not be for you.
I welcome guest posts from Authors and post them on this blog and social media. Please send to my email for review.
